Business & Technical Trades Career Exploration Day a great success!
The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Booster Club, led by John Stenz and Heather Poush from FORCE America, executed Northfield's largest career exploration event for youth on May 17. Over 35 local employers and well over 500 students from grades 7 through 12 participated in this year's Business and Technical Trades Career Exploration Day.
Schwan’s Foods Visits FACS Class
Northfield High School students in Shari Karlsrud's FACS International Foods Course had the opportunity to meet with professionals from Schwan’s Foods, a Minnesota-based company, to engage in a product development project for a new pizza flavor to be introduced to schools next fall.

Dr. Chris Richardson’s Retirement Celebration – May 31
Following an educational career that has spanned 46 years, including the past 12 as the superintendent of the Northfield Public Schools, Dr. Chris Richardson will be retiring this summer. Dr. Richardson was a founding member of the Northfield Promise Council of Champions and has been a great advocate for the work of Northfield Promise.

Bridgewater Elementary Book Drive Collects Over 1,000 Books!
The Bridgewater Elementary student council conducted a school-wide book drive with a goal of collecting 1,000 books. They prepared weekly announcements and visited classrooms to promote the drive.
