The Northfield Public Library reopened this month – and what a beautiful community facility it is! Congratulations to the City of Northfield, the Friends & Foundation of the Northfield Public Library, the Library Board, and all of the community donors who made this amazing renovation possible.

To help encourage all of Northfield to take advantage of this community gem, the Friends of the Library teamed up with Women In Northfield Giving Support to create “Welcome Back to the Library” packs. These included information (in English & Spanish) on the library and its services, early literacy resources, and Hiawathaland Transit bus passes for those who need transportation to get to the library.

The packs were given out to children and families at the Greenvale Park Community School, the Community Action Center of Northfield, and the Northfield Food Shelf.
