Northfield Promise recognizes the power of high-quality early childhood experiences in helping kids enter kindergarten ready to learn. The latest data shows that there is currently a gap in the amount of time that low-income Northfield children spend in early childhood experiences versus their more affluent classmates. In addition, local data shows that most Northfield children attend multiple early childhood programs prior to kindergarten.
