Northfield Promise was invited to present at the National Community Education Conference, held in the Bloomington, MN, September 30 – October 3, 2015.

The Northfield Promise breakout session was attended by community education directors and coordinators from across the country.

“The conference organizers contacted us because they heard about the collective impact work underway in Northfield,” said Erin Bailey, Northfield Public Schools Community Services Director. “They felt that conference attendees would be interested in what collective impact work looks like in a non-metro context and to hear some of the practical efforts underway here in Northfield.”

After providing information on the Northfield Promise framework, presenters focused on local efforts including Tackling Obstacles and Raising College Hopes (TORCH), the Reading Rockets literacy pilot, the Greenvale Park Community School, and Youth Mental Health First Aid.
